Welcome to our Farm!
Thank you for your interest in using Five Blossoms Farm for your photography sessions! This is a seasonal service offered to photographers Spring through Winter. Please review the terms and conditions below and let us know if you have any questions.
Who can take pictures on the farm?
Five Blossoms Farm defines portrait photography as all engagement, family, maternity, portfolio, prom, graduation, and any other posed portraiture of individuals by professional photographers, as well as semi-pro, pro-am or amateur photographers, whether paid or unpaid.
Five Blossoms Farm reserves the right to further define Portrait Photography on a case-by-case basis.
The Fine Print
Five Blossoms Farm is a working cut flower and beekeeping farm, and as such, there may be ongoing farm activities during your photography session. Due to the nature of our business, we provide access to the farm on an “as is” basis (farm equipment is not removed), subject to mother nature, seasons and other farm activities offered to the public. We will, however, make every effort to minimize any potential disruptions to your session.
As a cut flower farm, we do our best to have flowers blooming at all times (March – October) so that our garden can be used for photography. However, flower availability for photo session backdrops may not always be available or be limited due to previously scheduled farm events.
We strongly recommend that you schedule a visit to tour the property before booking. By proceeding with your photography session at Five Blossoms Farm, you acknowledge and accept the working and cut flower nature of our farm, terms and conditions. Five Blossoms Farm assumes no responsibility for the weather conditions or seasonal variations that may affect your session.
Bookings
For booking, please submit your request via our online appointment platform.
All portrait photography sessions must be reserved, approved and paid in advance.
Reservations are accepted seasonally. Availability will depend on previously scheduled farm events.
Cancellations are non-refundable, however rescheduling to a later date due to inclement weather is allowed upon approval, up to one time and subject to availability. No shows on the designated date will not be credited or refunded. We also reserve our right to accept or deny session booking requests at our discretion.
Photographers must refrain from advertising sessions at Five Blossoms Farm on their website and/or social media unless they have approval and have previously submitted payment for their permit.
Photographers that arrive to our farm without a reservation will not be granted access to the farm and will be asked to come back at a later date upon booking.
Session Permit Pricing
New 2024 Pricing, applicable to sessions booked starting 4/1/24:
$50 for a one (1) hour full session
**$30 per additional 30 minutes
$60 for a one (1) hour time slot for mini sessions **$40 per additional 30 minutes
General Photography Policies
These policies apply to ALL individuals taking still or moving images on Five Blossoms Farm. Five Blossoms Farm maintains the right to adjust these policies in specific instances.
Follow all instructions given by Five Blossoms Farm. Photographers must move if asked by any staff and may be asked to restrict activities to certain places or times.
Access
There will be a designated section of the farm for taking photos. Photographers and clients can and will be asked to leave the premises if going out of the boundaries occur. Photography at our private residency and surrounding areas is not allowed. Clients should arrive camera-ready as there are no dressing room facilities. Clients are not allowed to change in public spaces.
